Former WWE Intercontinental Champion Drew McIntyre made a surprise return to the company during last Saturday's NXT TakeOver: Orlando. Appearing in the crowd during the live broadcast, McIntyre later announced that he had re-signed with the company, and has his sights set on Bobby Roode's NXT Championship.

McIntyre made his official in-ring return during last night's NXT TV tapings, defeating Oney Lorcan in a match that will air on April 12th, and Andrade "Cien" Almas for the April 26th show. Drew also debuted a new theme song featuring bagpipes during the tapings.

As per the spoilers, Drew received a massive pop and "welcome back" chants at Full Sail University. When the match airs, it'll be his first televised WWE bout since June 2014.
