Drew McIntyre Was Banged Up In Last Night's Hell In A Cell Match
McIntyre shares his battle scars after brutal WWE Hell In A Cell 2021 war.
Drew McIntyre has hit Twitter to share some pictures of his battle scars following a hard-hitting battle with Bobby Lashley at WWE Hell In A Cell 2021.
The duo contested a bruising encounter for Lashley's WWE Championship, with Bobby scoring the victory via roll-up following a referee bump and interference from his manager, MVP. The loss appeared to come at a considerable physical cost for McIntyre, who took the brunt of the punishment in a match featuring kendo sticks, tables, the cage wall, and other weaponry.
McIntyre shared the following photographs of his welts:-
It’s been a wild ride. I’ve always wanted to make all of you proud, and I hoped that you would get the chance to see me live and in person as WWE Champion. Looks like that dream is on hold for awhile. Thanks for all your support. #HIAC pic.twitter.com/RQgCWkOC2c

Elsewhere, Lashley was in a less than sympathetic mood:-

Losing means that McIntyre can no longer challenge for the WWE Championship while Lashley holds the belts, as determined by the stipulation. The screwy ending could, however, open things back up for him. We'll likely find out more on tonight's episode of Raw.
This was Lashley's third successful title defence against McIntyre. His first came at WrestleMania 37, where Bobby felled Drew in the night one opener, while the second was a Triple Threat also featuring Braun Strowman at WrestleMania Backlash in May. Strowman was pinned in that bout.
