WWE legend Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson has revealed he suffered a recent cancer scare during an interview with People. The actor found a "really painful" lump on his testicle whilst showering one morning, but initially hid that information from his wife because he didn't want to alarm her before getting checked.

This happened on a Friday, and Johnson wasn't checked over by doctors until the Monday. Rocky must've been alarmed himself when docs refused to rule out cancer - they figured it might be epididymitis (inflammation), but weren't 100% sure. An ultrasound would clear everything up and let them know, but there was just one problem.

Dwayne was booked in for media duties to promote Jumanji with Kevin Hart and Jack Black that day, and he couldn't shift things around. He told People that it was difficult to "live with that for those 24 hours, not knowing - and I had to be on all day, joking around, making speeches".

Basically, Johnson had to be the charismatic figure wrestling fans and movie-goers alike have come to know and appreciate. Inside, he had a possible cancer diagnosis weighing on his mind, which must've been awful.

The good news is that his ultrasound came back clear. The Rock doesn't have cancer.

It's obviously great that Johnson's pain has subsided and he's back to his best. Rumours persist that he'll be back on WWE screens eventually, and some fans even believe he'll play a part in next year's WrestleMania 43 over in Saudi Arabia.

That remains to be seen, but the most important thing is that he's healthy.
