ECW Legend's Son Debuts On AEW Dynamite

Cody Rhodes made things personal on last night's AEW Dynamite - and paid for it.

There was a notable debut on last night's AEW Dynamite, as Taz's son, Hook, appeared for the very first time, exiting ringside with his father after a confrontation involving Cody Rhodes and Gunn Club.

Taz had effectively held the show hostage by refusing to leave the ring until a member of management answered his call to legitimise the FTW World Championship. Rhodes emerged still wearing a headset, confirming that Team Taz's Ricky Starks and Powerhouse Hobbs would face himself and Darby Allin the following week, but this wasn't enough for Taz.

The former ECW World Champion wanted respect. He got fired up when Cody wouldn't give him that, leading to Rhodes taking it a step too far, asking Taz why his son, Hook, was training with the Nightmare Family, not his father.

Taz appeared to leave but turned back around, locking Cody in a Tazmission. Gunn Club made the save and the ECW legend left the ring, where he was joined by a hoodie-clad hook. The duo then made their leave.

Hook (real name Tyler Senerchia) filed a trademark application for his ring name last week. There's currently no word on whether or not he will become a regular character on Dynamite.
