Eddie Kingston Shoots On Current Relationship With AEW Boss Tony Khan

How are things going behind the scenes in AEW between Tony Khan and Eddie Kingston?

Eddie Kingston is thankful that Tony Khan lets him speak his mind.

The AEW star told 'The PWI Podcast' that he doesn't always agree with the boss (and vice versa), but that they have a healthy relationship because it's respectful of their differing outlooks. That, Kingston says, is one of Tony's main strengths - he's willing to hear opinions he might not jive with.

Eddie is notorious for saying what he's thinking. The brawler doesn't have a problem with cutting others down when he feels it's appropriate, or with speaking his mind. That could be problematic in a more corporate environment, but Khan appreciates what Kingston brings to the table and encourages his uniqueness.

That's cool to know.

Obviously, Tony is still the one who decides what airs on AEW programming like Dynamite, Rampage and pay-per-view though. Eddie knows that, but he likes being able to serve up a different view and see what he can get away with creatively.

Kingston recently hit the headlines again due to a backstage confrontation with Sammy Guevara. It appears that situation has been smoothed over and everyone is on the same page again.
