El Hijo del Vikingo is understood to be "fine" after seemingly passing out following his match at AAA's TripleMania XXXI: Mexico City event on Saturday (12 August).

Diario RÉCORD shared footage of Vikingo being loaded onto a stretcher via medical officials after the high-flyer's successful AAA Mega Title defence over Daga, Jack Cartwheel, and 'Speedball' Mike Bailey (h/t Fightful's Righteous Reg).

Fortunately, PWInsider reports that Vikingo is okay - and not currently expected to miss any upcoming dates. It was stated that Vikingo was dehydrated and didn't eat enough food prior to TripleMania, though no further updates were offered on his condition.

PWInsider had inquired if the stretcher situation was an angle, sell job, or work, though none of the outlet's sources indicated that this was the case. That the luchador was on Instagram for a number of hours after TripleMania, posting clips from the event (including footage showing him on the stretcher), suggests that this probably wasn't a serious situation, however.

Vikingo, 26, is regarded as one of the most cutting-edge high-flying wrestlers on the planet. American fans may know him best from his AEW appearances this year, commencing with the acclaimed Kenny Omega match on 22 March.
