Here we go again.

Eric Bischoff has raised the ire of AEW's hardcore fanbase on more than one occasion. Being fair, the former WCW chief doesn't shy away from criticism about old employer WWE either, but his opinions on Tony Khan's company seem to grab the most headlines.

Recently, Bisch told fans tuning into his podcasts on AdFreeShows that AEW's TV ratings are "flatlining" and don't seem to be growing any time soon. Eric also said that "nobody else out there that is manufacturing products is looking at the AEW brand right now" and banking their future on it.

Most, according to Bischoff, want to see how things pan out in the next two-three years.

When pressed for more, Eric added: "If they can grow that industry in such a way that it gives confidence to manufacturers and distributors to go ahead and invest money, then that’s when you’ll start to see real growth in AEW".

Bischoff, who has appeared on AEW TV more than once, said he's not looking to "knock" Khan's company. He pointed out that substantial growth can't "happen overnight", and that's just the way it is.
