Eric Bischoff Thought This Released WWE Star "Had A Lot Of Potential"

Bischoff says ex-WWE star could've been huge "with the right manager".

It's Erick Rowan, and you might've guessed that from the fuzzy beard outline in the main image.

That was hard to hide, but Eric Bischoff thinks WWE did a decent job of hiding Rowan's potential during his nine-year stay in the promotion between 2011-2020. The Bisch told SportsKeeda that he was very impressed with Rowan's dedication during his short stint as SmackDown's Executive Director in 2019.

According to Eric, the big man showed a lot of focus and passion for cutting promos. He believes that WWE could've made more of that and turned him into a really good talker. Or, Bischoff thinks, the company could've put a top manager with him and experienced "different results".

In the end, they did neither. Rowan was released as part of mass cuts in April 2020, hit the indy scene as Erick Redbeard and recently showed up in AEW as part of tributes for fallen friend Brodie Lee.

Bischoff said his WWE run should've been more.

He was taken by Rowan's ability "to process and absorb the information" thrown at him during hectic pre-show meetings, and wishes him nothing but the best.
