Bischoff doesn't think AEW should boast about competing with WWE's "C game".

Eric Bischoff has already criticised AEW's for doing things that are 'too WWE-like'.

Now, the former WCW chief and WWE Executive Director has advised All Elite to "maintain that underdog status" for as long as they can in their battle with WWE. Speaking via his '83 Weeks' podcast, Bisch said that AEW should "quit pounding the f*cking drum".

Eric wants to see the company succeed long term, but he's worried that they're creating "this false sense of success or superiority". Bischoff also pointed out that AEW Dynamite is currently only jousting for ratings with WWE's "C Game" NXT, not the "A" shows like Raw or SmackDown.

Of course, he also believes Tony Khan and pals should be thrilled that they're doing well in certain demographics, and he doesn't want them to be shy about successes. Bischoff's main concern is that AEW might force things too much and end up turning some fans sour.

He said the notion that "AEW is outperforming WWE" is "cosplay, cool and fun", but isn't "real" when one sits down to crunch all of the numbers and business details.
