The hammerhead is a call-back to the duo's days as the Bludgeon Brothers in WWE. "Bróðir", meanwhile, is Old Nordic for "brother", as clarified by Redbeard's wife, Leah Ruud, in response to a fan:-

Redbeard and Lee came through the WWE ranks together. Debuting as part of The Wyatt Family in 2012, they went by Erick Rowan and Luke Harper and followed Bray Wyatt to the main roster the following year. The bruising tandem then split and reunited several times, most notably when they were rechristened the Bludgeon Brothers in 2017, before coming back together for one last hurrah as part of the Roman Reigns whodunit storyline.

While Lee was released from his WWE deal in December 2019, Rowan was let go in April. He appeared on the touching Celebration of Life special episode of AEW Dynamite on 30 December 2020, holding up a sign reading "Goodbye for now, my brother - see you down the road", after battling an interfering Wardlow away from the ring.
