16. Cody Hall

While most New Japan trainees start their careers as character-less rookies grinding their way through an endless stream of five minute opening bouts, Cody Hall took a different path. He was introduced as Bullet Club's personal trainee in January 2015, but still lost most of the tag matches he competed in, taking the fall so senior BC members wouldn't have to.

Hall's run came to an end at Invasion Attack 2016, when he was badly injured after catching a Matt Jackson dive. He was sidelined until January 2017, when NJPW quietly removed his profile from their website, though he has since resurfaced in Pro Wrestling NOAH.

An awkward, clunky wrestler, Cody shared his father Scott's size, but was far too green to make much of a mark during his NJPW run.
