This time last year, Jinder Mahal was already sliding very rapidly down WWE's greasy pole from his inexplicable run as champion back to his more natural position propping up the card. He was thrown from 2018's Rumble by Kofi Kingston, and any suggestion he'd ever held a world title was as far from the announcers' lips as possible.
He's arguably became even less relevant since then. But hey, at least he's still in it.
