Kofi Kingston would likely have been in the Royal Rumble even if the New Day had not been selected for participation as a group. After all, his annual 'survival spot' in the battle royale has become something of a yearly tradition.

What'll he do this year? The mind boggles. Hopefully it won't involve pancakes. But it will.
