In a stonewall case of 'blessing in disguise', Alicia Fox was replaced by Kairi Sane at the very last minute prior to last year's Women's Royal Rumble, having suffered an injury in the warm-up.

Despite losing her Mixed Match Challenge final to Carmella & R-Truth, Fox will still get the chance to avenge 2018's missed opportunity, after being announced for the match on the 7 January episode of Raw.
