A week's a long time in a Global Emergency...

"We remain committed to hosting WrestleMania at Raymond James Stadium on Sunday, April 5" was the official statement from WWE last week, in the face of industry-wide calls for the event to be postponed.

With virtually every other major event in the United States being delayed, cancelled, or moved behind closed doors, WWE's defiant stance came as a surprise to many, a shock to some, and outrage from others. Their decision flies in the face of both public opinion, and scientific suggestion, and despite the event still being on the calendar, there realistically looks like there is no way it can go ahead.

However in the mere days since they issued this statement, it seems not even the company themselves actually agree with it. A red pen has been taken to both the live and television schedules, with the very shape of the company being forced to adapt to changing circumstances.
