Curiously, Amarillo legend Dory Funk Jr.'s Rumble one-off came in the midst of WWF's 'New Generation' push, when he was a hale and hearty 54-year-old. It came ten years after his only other WWF pay-per-view outing at WrestleMania 2, then under the name 'Hoss Funk'.
