Every Star Of The Last WCW Nitro: Where Are They Now?

12. Shane Helms

WCW Cruiserweight gets repackaged in WWE as a deluded dork superhero is prime rib stuff, but it was indefinably magic: Helms cleared loved the bit, it was hugely infectious, and he revealed himself to be a cracking comedy performer with certainly enough skill to layer his matches with real, heartfelt drama, on the few occasions it was demanded. He was less interesting as 'Gregory Helms' - about as interesting as the new forename - but regardless, he put forward several decent performances in a thankless role as Cruiserweight Champion.

The Hurricane now works as a backstage producer in WWE. Jury's out on the that - the shift in personnel doesn't seem to manifest in the ring style - but he is unanimously great at Twitter.
