After a spate of departures, Chase Owens allayed New Japan's fears in early January when he penned a new multi-year deal with the company.

'The Crown Jewel' - a nickname which events elsewhere has rendered somewhat unfortunate - was welcomed back into the Bullet Club at New Year Dash, after dissension over the group's hierarchy had seen them cut asunder back in July. All's well that ends well.
