But in at number one, and the last men standing on this list, we have Triple H and Chris Jericho with their gruelling contest from Fully Loaded in July of 2000.

Despite Jericho’s newness to the company and Triple H being the overwhelming pre-match favourite, this one was booked evenly from start to finish. With Jericho’s taped ribs a clear weakness, the playing field was evened slightly after a rasping chair shot saw Triple H stay true to form and lose an awful lot of blood.

Even the end itself was neck-and-neck, with Triple H only just getting to his feet after a double back suplex from the guardrail through the announce table. It was a fitting finish to a fantastic match.

Plus, we got to see Stephanie take the Walls of Jericho along the way, so what’s not to love about this one?

If you’re still with us, then congratulations, and please feel free to comment below and share your thoughts on the Last Man Standing match, as well as the rankings featured on this list!
