Every WWE Royal Rumble's Best Performer

2007 €“ Edge

Whilst the 2007 Royal Rumble match may have had the greatest finishing sequence in history €“ The Undertaker and Shawn Michaels going at it for 8 minutes until €˜Taker got the win - it was Edge who was the real MVP of the bout. Coming in at #5, the Rated-R Superstar lasted 45 minutes before being eliminated by Shawn Michaels. When Edge was in there, though, he was on fire. This was at a point where, after years of banging on the door, Edge was a bona fide main event player, and his anchoring of the €™07 Rumble was a further indication of how the Canadian had stepped up to become one of the top stars in the WWE. As a nefarious heel, there were plenty of near-eliminations for Edge, and his dynamic with Randy Orton was a particular highlight of his performance here.
