Almost one year ago, Sheamus and Cesaro captured their first and only SmackDown Tag Team Championship by defeating The New Day on the 1000th episode of SmackDown thanks to... The Big Show. Yeah, that happened.
Apart from a really dumb and forgettable match/angle with AOP and Drake Maverick at Survivor Series, which saw Maverick piss himself, The Bar thankfully got rid of Big Show (who was adding absolutely nothing to the team) and managed to have a pretty decent title reign.
After months of really good matches with many teams, particularly New Day and The Usos, the European champs would lose the straps at this year's Royal Rumble to The Miz and Shane McMahon.
It was far from being as good as their reigns over on RAW, but it was nothing to be ashamed of.
