Samoa Joe yet again let the United States Championship slip through his fingers on pay-per-view, this time falling to Ricochet in an understated Stomping Grounds gem. 'The Samoan Submission Machine' moved on to bigger things with Kofi Kingston one night later, leaving 'The One & Only' as the next willing participant in the seemingly pointless pursuit of getting the title over.
