Ex-AEW star and WWE favourite Matt Hardy shot down rumours of a Shane McMahon jump to Tony Khan's promotion during the latest episode of his podcast. In short, Hardy thinks rumours about McMahon chatting to various All Elite workers simply weren't true.

Podcast host Conrad Thompson recently claimed on one of his shows that Shane had reached out to several AEW workers, and the subject of him working some shots for Tony Khan came up. Further, Mercedes Mone has already confirmed that she had a chat with McMahon after bumping into him at an airport. It's hardly nailed on that Shane and Mercedes were talking about him signing on the dotted line with Khan though.

Matt agrees it'd be totally "wild" if Vince McMahon's son popped up on Dynamite soon, but he can't see it happening. In fact, Hardy "heard from someone" that "none of that was true"; by "that", he's referring to recent online rumours that Shane was talking to AEW talent about possibly joining the company sooner rather than later.

This story continues to develop. It isn't finished yet!
