WWE put off talking money with this former Raw and NXT star for nine months.

Current AEW star Lio Rush was "losing money" during his run on Raw with Bobby Lashley a few years ago.

Rush told 'Talk Is Jericho' that he was struggling to stay afloat financially when out on the road with WWE. This is something Lio brought to the company's attention, but he says it took them nine long months to try and sort things out.

The "Hype Man" also bagged himself an unwanted reputation for complaining about the situation.

He was tasked with making the same personal appearances as Lashley during tours, but wasn't paid accordingly for them. Eventually, things reached melting point for lil' Lio - he asked for a meeting with Vince McMahon to sort his issues out.

That led to the aforementioned nine-month cycle of misery for Rush. WWE staffers repeatedly told him that Vince was busy. So, Lio went to Triple H and tried to thrash things out. The wrestler didn't understand why anybody would think he'd be content to be on WWE TV and lose money doing it.

Later, Rush had a brief run on NXT before departing the promotion. The whole experience left a bad taste in his mouth.
