Ex-World Champion "Closer And Closer" To WWE Return!

A major player is ready to hit WWE screens again. Will he return before WrestleMania?

Injured WWE star Braun Strowman has updated fans on his status via Twitter/X by saying he's getting "closer and closer" to making an on-screen return. The big man has been out since early 2023 rehabbing surgery on a nasty neck injury, but it looks like he'll launch a comeback imminently.

Braun's timing couldn't be better. WWE is just about to hit Australia for Elimination Chamber, then full attentions will turn to Philadelphia and a bumper WrestleMania 40 weekender. It'd do Strowman a lot of good to be involved in the latter, at least - he'd previously noted during interviews that sitting around at home unable to do weights or anything physical at all wasn't keeping him happy.

Returning to the road would put a smile on his face then.

Braun was teaming with Ricochet before going down with a neck injury, so it'll be interesting to see if WWE's creative team return to that idea or move both guys on. Strowman ended his social media post by saying: "The Monster's coming home!".

He's excited to get back on Raw and SmackDown ASAP. Don't be surprised if Braun's back on screens very soon.
