Former WWE star Davey Boy Smith Jr has admitted that he "couldn't give two sh*ts" about returning to the promotion any time soon.

Smith Jr told Fightful that he'd come back if the company offered a boatload of money, but otherwise has next-to-no interest in working for WWE in 2023. The wrestler was left "disappointed" by his latest run between July-November 2021 - Davey was cut by bosses before even appearing on television, and only worked a series of dark matches before TV went live.

That unsatisfying experience did earn Smith Jr some "free money" for a few house show-esque bouts, but it left him a little confused too. He figured his dark matches "went well", and heard rumblings that he'd soon be debuting on SmackDown as the "Stampede Stud" (a name he liked).

It didn't happen though.

Now, Davey would only make a WWE comeback if they hurled plenty of money his way. His "couldn't give two sh*ts" comment is rather definitive, basically. Smith Jr, who has since popped back up in MLW, isn't really thinking about returning to WWE in the near future.
