Ex-WWE Star Cedric Alexander Teases Joining The Hurt Syndicate (AEW News)
Cedric Alexander drops major Hurt Syndicate tease in latest independent appearance

Cedric Alexander marked his third appearance on the independents since leaving WWE with a major tease of what could be in his near future
Per @KXNGAO on X, Alexander cut a promo during his Deadlock Pro Wrestling appearance, noting that "I don't know if you've heard, but I hurt people". This marks the first direct reference he's made to the stable in a pro wrestling setting beyond social media, in what may also be an outright come-and-get-me to All Elite Wrestling as the company proceeds with the critically praised Hurt Syndicate stable.
Formed and headed up by Montel Vontavious Porter, the group have been a part of AEW television since MVP's on-screen debut last September. Despite the former WWE United States and Tag Team Champion going on a recruitment drive with business cards at the very beginning of his run, the only official members thus far have been Shelton Benjamin and Bobby Lashley, who also formed part of cult favourite WWE stable The Hurt Business between 2020 and 2022. Alexander was the other member of that group, but as yet hasn't been added to the AEW version.
As of writing, Maxwell Jacob Friedman is set to become part of the stable, with the offer currently under the watchful eye of his legal representative 'Smart' Mark Sterling before being formalised on the May 21st Dynamite. Fans have awaited a twist in that particular tale, and if and when 'The Salt Of The Earth's true intentions reveal themselves and/or The Hurt Syndicate reveal their own and beat him down and out of the group, there may well be a spot waiting for Alexander.
Cedric won the WWE Tag Team Championships with Shelton Benjamin during the run, and also had a Cruiserweight Title to his name during runs that stretched between 2016 and 2025
