Bully Ray has revealed that his old partner D-Von Dudley wasn't into the idea of working with Ring Of Honor when the pair left WWE for a second time in 2016.

The ex-Bubba Ray Dudley told listeners on Busted Open Radio that plans were put in place for a Dudleyz vs. The Briscoe Brothers feud in ROH, but that D-Von "felt that Ring Of Honor was beneath him". Elaborating, Bully said that he decided to go in solo because he wanted to work with Briscoes and had a lot of respect for them.

D-Von, apparently, didn't feel the same and wasn't up for it.

ROH were keen to make The Dudleyz vs. Briscoes a fully-fleshed feud that'd dominate their tag-team division for months. Everything seemed fine until D-Von told Bubba that he wouldn't be coming along for the ride - he didn't believe the company was a good fit for him personally.

The Dudley Boyz haven't teamed together since appearing on a House Of Glory show in December 2016. Since then, D-Von has worked as a WWE producer and Bully has focused on his radio work.
