Former WWE star and new Impact Wrestling man Luke Gallows has described fellow former WWE alumni Enzo Amore as "misunderstood" during an interview with Wrestling Inc Daily.

Gallows was talking about nZo's involvement in the upcoming Talkn’SHopAMania event, and went to bat for the outspoken wrestler-turned-rapper.

He also described Amore as "very charismatic" and said he "had some bad follies that I think weren’t necessarily his fault". Adding to his defence, Gallows noted that Enzo didn't seem to understand how some things in the pro wrestling world worked, but that "deep down he’s a good human being and I think he’s got a good heart".

Amore was released by WWE in early-2018 following allegations of sexual assault. The investigation was dropped in May that same year, but that was too late to change the promotion's mind; their zero tolerance policy kicked into effect and booted Enzo out the door.

Gallows said that Enzo "entertains the sh*t" out of him and that he doesn't think the motormouthed performer sets out to offend or hurt anyone.

Maybe big LG is about to recommend nZo to Impact? Stranger things have happened.
