Ex-WWE Superstars & Reported Triple H Targets Make Surprise Appearance On AEW Rampage [SPOILERS]

Rampage Spoilers as potential new AEW signings make appearances at Toronto taping.

Former WWE/ROH stars Maria Kanellis & Mike Bennett and former Ring Of Honor Champion Matt Taven all appeared during AEW Rampage tapings that took place last night in Toronto.

This comes from Post Wrestling's John Pollock, who tweeted the following while the show was in progress;

Newsworthy in and of itself, the names in particular are of interest due to the fact that only this week there was speculation that the trio (along with numerous others) were high on Triple H's list. He's made a spate of new signings since Vince McMahon resigned in disgrace, and these three were among the expected next ones/

It's possible that the names in particular were subject to some lost-in-translation rumour-mongering, or that AEW have elected to pick up the recent Impact Tag Team Champions ahead of WWE making an offer, but that's not likely to be clear until more is known about their involvement in AEW.

Expect more on this following Friday's broadcast when there'll likely be further discussion on their respective statuses.
