Former WWE Diva and one-time Women's Champion Candice Michelle has put pen to paper on a layered deal with TNA that'll encapsulate an onscreen role and work behind the scenes.

Michelle was shown signing her new deal during a social media vid posted by TNA. It shows company president Carlos Silva and producer Tommy Dreamer thanking Candice for accepting the role. For her part, Michelle said she's always loved pro wrestling but didn't think there was any route back into the industry for her.

She went on to describe the new dual role as "a dream come true", and thanked Dreamer for reaching out to gauge interest. He opened the doorway back into the industry for Candice, and she's extremely grateful for that opportunity.

Michelle was with WWE for a core run between 2004-2009, but has made cameo appearances in more recent years. She showed up on the 22 July 2019 episode of Raw (which was dubbed Raw Reunion), and again in the crowd on the 12 August 2024 edition of the flagship.

However, Candice hasn't actually worked a match since wrestling fellow WWE alumni Lisa Marie Varon/Victoria on an independent show in December 2017. Her final WWE match was a loss to Beth Phoenix on the 2 February 2009 Raw.

She did show up in the audience for TNA's debut on AMC in January, but few could've predicted that she'd go on to strike up a working relationship with the promotion and ink this contract. There's no word on whether or not Michelle will actually be taking bumps, or if she'll exclusively appear on TV in a non-wrestling role.
