Ex-WWE Wrestler "Taking Time Away From The Ring"

You won't be seeing this former WWE worker wrestle matches any time soon.

Former WWE man Biff Busick, who wrestled for the promotion as NXT's Oney Lorcan, has announced that he's "decided to take some time away from performing in the ring".

Busick posted this news on his Twitter account, and followed it up by apologising to any promoters who had already tried to get in touch about booking him for shows. For the time being, Biff won't be accepting any of those offers - he fancies some downtime away from active wrestling.

Fair enough.

Busick requested his release from WWE late-last year, and the company eventually granted it on 4 November. Since then, he's wrestled a grand total of 16 matches (including bouts vs. Jon Moxley, Brody King and Wheeler Yuta), but hasn't worked since Beyond Wrestling's event this past June.

There, he lost a 16-minute match to Alec Price before disappearing for a month or so. Wrestling fans didn't know what had happened to the guy, but he's now clarified things on social media. Fingers crossed Biff is healthy and happy - it'd also be great to see him back in the ring once he's ready to return.
