The NXT Tag Team Championships are to be rescued from the trashcan and put back into circulation.

WWE's plans for the half-vacated straps were announced on last night's NXT 2.0. Hall of Famer Alundra Blayze made an appearance during the broadcast, confirming, through a backstage segment, that a four-way match on next week's show would determine the new champions.

Toxic Attraction's Jacy Jayne and Gigi Dolin, Diamond Mine's Ivy Nile and Tatum Paxley, Yulisa Leon and Valentina Feroz, and Katana Chance and Kayden Carter will contest the vacant straps. Interestingly, Roxanne Perez will not be involved. The prospect was still listed as a Women's Tag Team Champion following ex-partner Cora Jade's decision to toss her own belt in a bin last week, though she has now been stripped.

Perez had her title belt in the aforementioned Blayze segment, though its fate, it was revealed, will be determined without her in the picture.

The NXT Women's Tag Team Title scene was thrown into disarray when Jade turned on Perez during Roxanne's match with NXT Women's Champion Mandy Rose two weeks ago. Now, they are being brought back.
