The seemingly final match has been confirmed for IMPACT Wrestling's Slammiversary pay-per-view, as the newly-united Brian Myers and Tenille Dashwood will tangle with Matt Cardona and a partner of his choosing.

This came around after Dashwood low blowed Cardona during a brawl between the former Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins, with Kaleb With A K recording the ambush. IMPACT EVP Scott D'Amore then made the contest official in a backstage segment, with Cardona having to find a partner of his choosing for the 17 July pay-per-view.

With this, the Slammiversary card stands at eight confirmed matches, while this will also Slammiversary's first mixed tag team match since the 2017 event. There, Eddie and Alisha Edwards saw off Davey Richards and Angelina Love in a Full Metal Mayhem match.

The intrigue here surrounds the mystery opponent of Cardona's, who'll no doubt be Chelsea Green. D'Amore referenced Slammiversary being a hot mess when speaking to Cardona, while Matt also hit Myers with an Unprettier during their brawl. That was Green's finish in NXT, dubbed the 'I'm Prettier'.

Here's how the Slammiversary card now looks, just one day before the event goes down:-
