Finn Balor needed only a short period of time away from the ring to recover from whatever was ailing him earlier this week, as the former Universal and NXT Champion returned to the ring for the last night of WWE's tour of the United Kingdom.

9 November saw Balor pulled from a planned singles match with Happy Corbin in Nottingham, England. It was announced to the live crowd that he was injured and wouldn't be able to compete, with PWInsider's Mike Johnson reporting that this was a precautionary measure for what he described as a "minor issue."

"Minor" was right, as Balor returned to action for last night's show in Manchester, teaming with Cesaro to face WALTER and Sheamus.

The Wrestling Observer's Dave Meltzer tweeted the following:-

"Finn Balor's injury from Monday wasn't serious as he worked today's show in Manchester, but worked a tag instead of a singles match, but did most of the match."

Balor had previously worked singles matches with Sheamus on the UK tour, as well as a series of United States Title four-way bouts with Damian Priest, Kevin Owens, and Seth Rollins.
