First Participant For AEW's Double Or Nothing Casino Ladder Match Revealed
The future AEW world champion?
Darby Allin has been announced as the first competitor for the Casino Ladder Match at All Elite Wrestling's upcoming Double Or Nothing pay-per-view.
The winner (of what is effectively AEW's version of Money in the Bank) receives a match for the AEW World Championship but little else is known about the contest. Allin was announced as the inaugural contestant on All Elite Wrestling's Twitter earlier today:-
Speculation is currently rife as to who else could be involved, with fans online suggesting names such as Sammy Guevara, Rey Fenix, Scorpio Sky, and the inimitable Orange Cassidy to join Allin.
The Casino Ladder Match is one of four matches already announced for 2020's Double or Nothing pay-per-view, which is set to take place on May 23rd. On this week's episode of Dynamite it was revealed that Tony Khan had booked MJF in a match with Jungle Boy following his return to action, and Jon Moxley accepted Brodie Lee's challenge for the AEW World Championship. The most highly-anticipated contest pits Cody against Lance Archer to see who will be crowned the first-ever AEW TNT champion.
