With the world hoping that the various COVID-19 vaccinations that are being rolled out across the globe will result in 2021 faring far better than 2020, the first WWE employee has now been vaccinated.

Taking to Instagram, WWE doctor Chris Amann revealed that he has had his first dose of the Moderna vaccine.

Dr Amann has been with WWE as far back as 2008, with his current role officially being that of WWE Senior Ringside Physician.

If the name Chris Amann sounds familiar, that’s because he was the doctor who, alongside WWE, took CM Punk and Colt Cabana to court following comments made during Punk’s 2014 appearance on Cabana’s The Art of Wrestling podcast.

That trial saw Amann seeking over $1 million in damages, claiming that Punk and Cabana had defamed him during their podcast chat. After a lengthy three-year process, jurors eventually sided with the Second City Saint and Boom Boom – although this whole situation led to the dissolution of the long-time friendship between CM Punk and Colt Cabana.
