Footage Surfaces Of Paige's Detainment After WWE Money In The Bank 2016

The smoke is beginning to clear over Paige and her Sunday night antics.

Video footage (as seen above) has surfaced on the internet of WWE Superstar Paige being detained by Las Vegas Metro Police following Sunday night's Money in the Bank pay-per-view.

Initially presumed to be an arrest, Paige's mother Saraya Knight denied that report on Twitter, and yesterday Court Bauer of MLW Radio detailed what actually happened, as told to him by Paige's partner Alberto Del Rio.

Bauer reported that Del Rio and Paige headed out to a show after the WWE event, only to be heckled by another couple. ADR called security, who subsequently ejected the rambunctious hecklers. The confrontation continued outside however, which led to Paige running out into the street and the police being called.

Las Vegas Metro Police thus responded to a call about a woman behaving erratically, and dealt with the situation quickly. The woman, presumed to be Paige, was detained and taken to a local hospital for a medical evaluation, but was soon released. The LVMP were unable to confirm the identity of the woman due to privacy laws, but have also confirmed that the footage and photographs seen of Paige correspond to this very incident.

Whilst WWE are believed to be investigating the incident, the general feeling is that it was handled properly and no further action will be taken.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
