It appears that WWE's Nikki A.S.H. is currently dealing with an injury issue.

As per WrestlingNews.co, the former Raw Women's Champion suffered an injury during the last chance four-way match on Friday's SmackDown. There, after taking a superplex from Dana Brooke, Nikki grabbed her knee and then had trouble getting back in the ring.

Post-match, A.S.H. had to be helped to the back by her partner, Doudrop, and was looked at by ringside medical staff.

If Nikki has indeed picked up an injury, that will be the latest setback for the snake-bitten tournament to crown new Women's Tag Team Champions. This comes on the back of both the Zoey Stark/Nikita Lyons and Toxic Attraction tandems being pulled from the tourney due to medical reasons.

It remains to be seen exactly how hurt Nikki is and how long, if at all, she'll be out of action for, but expect more on this story as it develops. In the meantime, the final of the aforementioned tag tournament will take place on tomorrow night's Raw, where Dakota Kai and IYO SKY will take on Raquel Rodriguez and Aliyah. Of course, there's then the prospect of former WWE Women's Tag Team Champions Sasha Banks and Naomi's rumoured impending company return looming large on the horizon, too.
