We're saddened to learn that Chris Wilson - better known to the wrestling world as former Combat Zone Wrestling champion Justice Pain - has passed away at the age of 41. No cause of death has been given at this time.

CZW confirmed the sad news in a Tweet this morning:

Wilson, born 16 May 1978, got his start in the business courtesy of John Zandig at the CZW Wrestling School. He, alongside his brother Nick 'Gage' Wilson, quickly became one of the stars around which the embryonic wrestling promotion was built. In 2000, he defeated Lobo at Cage of Death II for the company's top title - a year after beating the same opponent for the CZW Iron Man Championship.

In 2003, Wilson left CZW for XPW, ultimately facing the late Chris Candido in the company's last ever match. He later returned to Philadelphia, where he spent the majority of the rest of his career, which also included stints in Big Japan Wrestling.

Outside the ring, Wilson was a father to two daughters. WhatCulture.com sends our most sincere condolences to Wilson's family and friends.

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
