Former ROH Champions Backstage At WWE Raw
Is Triple H about to add a couple of notable ROH names to his WWE roster?
Former Ring Of Honor wrestlers Vincent and Dutch were backstage at last night's episode of WWE Raw, reports PWInsider's Mike Johnson.
There is currently no word on why the duo was there, though Vincent recently concluded his commitments to IMPACT Wrestling, where he had been working as part of the Honor No More stable. He joined Mike Bennett, Maria Kanellis-Bennett, and Matt Taven in leaving the promotion following its Albany, New York television tapings last weekend.
Alongside Bateman and Vita VonStarr, Dutch and Vincent comprised The Righteous in Ring Of Honor. They had appeared once for the brand since AEW chief Tony Khan's March takeover, dropping their World Six Man Tag Team Championships to Dalton Castle and The Boys at Death Before Dishonor 2022. This was their first defence, having taken the straps from Shane Taylor Promotions back in December.
Vincent was an ROH regular from October 2016 onwards, getting his break as Vinny Marseglia in The Kingdom before switching his persona up, becoming Vincent. Dutch, meanwhile, wrestled as Bill Carr prior to joining Vincent in The Righteous.
Dutch and Vincent weren't the only interesting names backstage at Raw. Fightful reports that NXT notables Carmelo Hayes and Von Wagner were both at the show.
