Former ROH Women's Champion Rok-C Signs With WWE

WWE reportedly signs one of the hottest prospects in the game.

As per Mike Johnson over at PWInsider, Rok-C has now signed with WWE.

Having partaken in a WWE tryout in December and another one earlier this year, reports last month claimed the former Ring of Honor Women's Champion had been offered a WWE deal, but at that time it was unknown whether she had signed said deal. Now though, it appears that Rok-C has indeed signed with Vince McMahon's sports entertainment behemoth.

Just 20 years of age, the real-life Carla Gonzalez already has seven years of experience under her belt. Beginning her training at the age of 13, Gonzalez would be taken under the wing of Booker T and his Reality of Wrestling promotion/wrestling school when she was 16. Debuting in 2018, last year saw Rok-C become the ROH Women's Champion after that belt was once again made active. She would drop that title to Deonna Purrazzo in January on an episode of IMPACT Wrestling.

For those wondering where the Rok-C name comes from, Gonzalez has previously stated how she was a huge fan of The Rock. Taking the Great One's name and adding the first letter of her first name, that's where she got Rok-C. Of course, whether Rok-C remains as Rok-C under the WWE banner remains to be seen, with it likely that she'll soon be given a new moniker as and when she makes her company debut.
