Former Women's Tag Team Champions Queen Zelina and Carmella split up on last night's episode of Raw.

Though the duo were originally booked to face Natalya and Shayna Baszler on the show, this didn't happen. They were instead involved in an in-ring segment that saw Zelina blame Carmella for them losing their championships at WrestleMania 38, saying that her now-former partner was too preoccupied with herself.

Carmella dismissed this (and Zelina's Queen's Crown tournament win last year), condescendingly offering Zelina a role as a flower girl at her and Corey Graves' upcoming wedding. That's when Zelina struck 'Mella down in the ring, prompting the former SmackDown Women's Champion to escape, then leap into Graves' lap at the announce booth, making out to close the segment.

Zelina and Carmella were Women's Tag Team Champions for 126 before dropping them to Naomi and Sasha Banks on WrestleMania 38's second night, doing so in a Fatal Four-Way also featuring Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan, and Natalya and Shayna Baszler.

The tandem became champions in November 2021, defeating Nikki A.S.H. and Ripley, though their reign brought only a single successful defence (against the same opposition on 3 January).
