For those wondering why Braun Strowman has been absent from WWE television for the past several weeks, the Monster Among Men is currently dealing with an injury issue.

Via PWInsider.com, Strowman is presently out of action with an unspecified injury. Despite the specifics of this injury being unknown, one WWE source has suggested that the one-time Universal Champion may require surgery.

Prior to this, Braun suffered a concussion in April, though he was cleared to return to the ring by the following week.

The last time that Strowman stepped between the ropes was on the 1 May episode of WWE Raw, where the former Wyatt Family man teamed with Ricochet in a winning effort against the Alpha Academy tandem of Chad Gable and Otis.

WWE is under the belief that Strowman won't be cleared to compete anytime soon, and thus the powerhouse has been taken "off the board" when it comes to any creative plans for him right now.

Of course, as alluded to above, Braun has been teaming with Ricochet in recent months. In Strowman's absence, the One and Only has been competing in singles action, including earning himself a spot in the titular bout at Money in the Bank from London's O2 Arena on Saturday 1 July.
