Former WWE star John Morrison has joked that he still "hates that place", but then said he'd be "open" to a comeback somewhere down the line.

JoMo had tongue firmly planted in cheek with the "hate" line. He told The MMA Hour that he'd only be game for making a return if WWE's creative team had something cool in mind for him. In other words, Morrison doesn't fancy just being there to work random matches - he wants to "be used in a meaningful way", and would seek "honest" talks with management immediately.

Morrison, who says he's never been keen to "burn any bridges", recently won his boxing debut by TKO in the third round. That earned The Miz's pal some praise on social media, but he did go on to suggest that he'd done something many top WWE stars couldn't by winning a real fight.

What was that about burning bridges?

Seriously though, Morrison would also be "open" to exploring options in AEW too. He added that he has a ton of respect for "all the minds in professional wrestling", including All Elite boss Tony Khan.
