All Elite Wrestling had a couple of notable free agents backstage for this week's special Homecoming episode of Dynamite, reports Bodyslam.net's Cassidy Haynes.

Former WWE Cruiserweight Champion Tony Nese was in the Daily's Place locker-room. He was let go by the promotion as part of its mass NXT and 205 Live cuts on 25 June, though he is believed to be bound to a 90-day non-compete clause. This would prevent him from appearing or signing for another promotion before 23 September.

Kiera Hogan was also at the show. The 26-year-old has broken out in IMPACT Wrestling over the past few years, capturing the company's Knockouts Tag Team Championships with Fire 'N Flava partner Tasha Steelz on two occasions in 2021, though she recently wrapped up her business with the Anthem-helmed group.

It should be stressed that there is no indication that AEW is signing either wrestler at this stage.

The next couple of months could be busy for Tony Khan's promotion as far as incoming wrestlers go, with CM Punk and Bryan Danielson seemingly imminent and the company reportedly pursuing other free agents, like Buddy Murphy.
