Another ex-WWE debuted for All Elite Wrestling at last night's tapings in Albany, New York.

Mascara Dorada, the former Gran Meltaik, wrestled Serpentico on the Dark: Elevation portion of the show. This is per the Wrestling Observer/Figure Four Online's spoilers from the event.

Dark: Elevation is typically taped on Wednesday nights around the live episode of Dynamite. AEW also filmed this Friday's Rampage in Albany - another common occurrence.

Dorada's match with Serpentico will likely air on AEW's official YouTube channel this coming Monday.

The former Gran Metalik debuted with WWE in 2016, competing in the promotion's acclaimed Cruiserweight Classic tournament. Defeated by TJ Perkins in the finals, Metalik became a regular in the revived Cruiserweight division, then joined the Lucha House Party alongside Kalisto and Lince Dorado in 2018. By September 2021, he had asked for his release, citing a lack of opportunities as the reason - and WWE finally let him go that November.

Dorada has primarily competed on NJPW STRONG since departing WWE, filling a midcard role, though he has also kept an intermittent independent schedule. Last month, he debuted for IMPACT Wrestling in a singles match with Alex Zayne.
