Former WWE Star Was Backstage At Recent AEW Taping (AEW News)
Priscilla Kelly was backstage at this week's AEW tapings.
Having been released by WWE last May, Priscilla Kelly - the former Gigi Dolin - was backstage at this week's AEW Dynamite and Collision taping.
This comes via Fightful Select, who reports that Kelly was at Orlando, Florida's Addition Financial Arena on Wednesday, which was the venue for the live Dynamite broadcast and the taping of last night's Collision. Priscilla lives in the Orlando area and is also engaged to one of AEW's latest signings, Zachary Wentz of the Rascalz.
In terms of AEW, Priscilla Kelly does have previous with Tony Khan's promotion, having been part of the Casino Battle Royale bout on the Buy-In pre-show for the first All Out back in 2019. She'd return to the company a few months later, losing to Britt Baker in January 2020 on the episode of Dynamite that emanated from the Jericho Cruise. Kelly would also lose to Allie on the Jericho Cruise, which again technically took place under the AEW banner.
Since being part of that WWE round of releases last May, Priscilla has been extremely active on the independent scene, most notably for GCW, in addition to appearing for the likes of MLW, Wrestling Revolver, House of Glory, and Maple Leaf Pro. The 28-year-old is also the current AWF Women's Champion, and has held the ACW Fire Women's Championship in the time since her WWE exit.
Whether Priscilla Kelly's future lies in AEW remains to be seen, though she'd be an excellent pick-up for any notable promotion out there.
