Former WWE Tag Team Champion Out For 6-9 Months

Don't expect to see this team on TV for quite some time.

Ringside News and later the Wrestling Observer have confirmed that Jimmy Uso will be out for six to nine months due to a knee injury.

The Usos returned to WWE television at the start of 2020 and had been battling against the likes of The Miz and John Morrison and The New Day on Friday Night SmackDown on FOX. This eventually led to a chaotic triple-threat ladder match at WrestleMania 36 which involved one member of each team battling it out for the SmackDown Tag Team titles.

Rumour has it, Jimmy may have sustained the knee injury during this explosive match - which also involved John Morrison and Kofi Kingston - as The Usos haven't wrestled together on WWE programming since 'Mania 36.

This is just the latest set back for the talented brothers as the pair were left on the sidelines for a large chunk of 2019 due to Jimmy's DUI arrest that year.

Hopefully Jimmy is back to full fitness as soon as possible and The Usos can add to their haul of six Tag Team Championship reigns in the coming years.
