Former NXT UK wrestler Killer Kelly looks set for a regular role in IMPACT Wrestling.

A new report from Fightful Select states that IMPACT was interesting in signing the Portuguese talent after she wrestled at their tapings in late 2020, working the company's Knockouts Tag Team Championship tournament alongside fellow free agent Renee Michelle.

The writeup states that "some things had to be worked out" before Kelly could come back to IMPACT. She returned to her overseas home and had planned to get back to the United States by January, but things have been complicated by the Portuguese embassy, which has been closed for interviews. Thus, the ongoing global health crisis has held her IMPACT re-debut up.

While there's no word on when, exactly, IMPACT will be able to bring Kelly back in, it looks inevitable once travel restrictions have eased off.

While perhaps most renowned for her breakout work in Germany's wXw from 2017 until the present day, Kelly was with WWE from 2018 to 2020, when she was released that January, having primarily worked on NXT UK. She currently serves as a coach at wXw's training academy.
